Welcome back to all NVS Lower School students!
We started the year out with some great community building time during which we took a field trip to Claytor Nature Center. On this trip we had the opportunity to take a nature walk, which included an eye opening scavenger hunt activity along the way. We also had lots of fun exploring the nearby creek and all the creatures who call it home. Both groups snagged several crawfish in their net and several students caught a glimpse of frogs making a quick getaway. A wonderful start to another great year at NVS!!!!
