Recently in drama we took some time out for a brief art project. We made our own scratchboard! The project began by coloring stripes on a sheet of poster board using crayons. We then painted several layers of black tempera paint mixed with a little dish soap over the entire page. Voila, handmade scratchboard! Finally we chose a picture or design and started scratching away!
